Nestled within the heart of MediaCityUK, the team at Dental have proved to be one of the most successful non-media companies within the development with turnover in excess of £1million in 2019 and more forecast for 2020 whilst increasing the team from just three in 2011 to thirteen to date.

As one of the first businesses to locate at MediaCityUK, Dental at MediaCityUK have successfully established themselves with a turnover reaching £1.1million in 2019 and a target of £1.5million for 2020. Having had over 8,000 patients through the door since opening in 2011 and an average spend of £2,500, it’s easy to see why.

Owned by dental husband and wife duo Hitesh Panchal and Deepa Vakil, state-of-the-art Dental offer a holistic and customer focused service within a relaxed and comfortable environment where their promise is to go beyond routine dentistry.

Dental at MediaCityUK is the fastest growing Invisalign clinic in the Greater Manchester area and one of a small number with Diamond Status, received for treating over 150 patients with Invisalign in a twelve-month period. Deepa is also an official speaker for Invisalign UK. The practice aims to bring dentistry to their patients in a relaxed and comfortable manner and are able to do so by using relaxation techniques such as homeopathy or sedation.

Deepa said: “We knew from the start we wanted to base ourselves within MediaCityUK as it’s such a vibrant hub with a huge amount of footfall. It’s been fantastic to play a part in the area’s development over the last 9 years and we’re looking forward to what the future will bring for Dental at MediaCityUK. Our aims for 2020 include adding a fourth surgery within the practice and expanding the team in line with the residential and commercial expansion of MediaCityUK.”

Hitesh’s areas of dental expertise include cosmetic, restorative and orthodontic fields. He has been recognised at the Aesthetic Awards for Best Patient Smile and has been shortlisted for the best young dentist in the North West.

Hitesh is passionate about educating people on oral health, in particular signs of oral cancer. He works with North West based Swallows Head and Neck Cancer Charity in helping to raise awareness and educate people. As one of the first dental practices in the region to have leading technology to help identify patient issues around mouth cancer, Hitesh volunteers his services offering free tests in conjunction with the charity.

Hitesh said: “The main areas of growth for Dental have been implant dentistry, smile makeovers and Invisalign as we’ve seen a trend in the nations awareness and desire for the ‘perfect smile’. We’re so pleased with how the business has progressed and how we’ve helped our patients to achieve their vision. The team started off as just three when we first opened, and we now employ thirteen staff with a view to growing more in the upcoming twelve months.”
