Turtle Bay is creating 60 new jobs at Quayside MediaCity – Here’s how you get one!

  • Ahead of their August opening, Turtle Bay are holding two ‘Audition’ days in Salford on 22nd June and 12th July
  • They are looking for hospitality superstars for front of house, chef and bartender  roles
  • New recruits invited to audition for the roles and duties will include tasting 40 different rums! 

The brand new Turtle Bay at Quayside Mediacity is getting ready to open in August and they are on the hunt for a whole team of front and back of house superstars to join the team including bar tenders, chefs, and waiting staff.

To recruit for the new restaurant, Turtle Bay will be screening hospitality hopefuls in two audition events on Wednesday 22nd June and Tuesday 12th July at Copthorne Hotel, Clippers Quay, Salford Quays, Manchester, M50 3SN.

Candidates will be invited to the interactive event following a short telephone screening. The in-person session will include a short online assessment and a face to face interview, giving candidates the chance to get to know their future employer as well as giving Turtle Bay the chance to get to know them.

The recruitment process is designed to showcase candidates’ personalities and abilities, and to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where applicants can get a proper flavour of life at Turtle Bay. As a company, Turtle Bay is all about allowing their team to shine – offering flexibility, support and celebrating team members as individuals (plus they throw one hell of a team party!).

With more than 60 jobs available front and back of house, including bar tenders, chefs, and waiting staff, new recruits will become part of an exciting new team and learn everything there is to know about Turtle Bay. From tasting 40 different types of rum to learning the secrets of the jerk pit BBQ, successful candidates will get to know Turtle Bay inside out and join a new, diverse team helping to bring the latest restaurant to life.

Positions are available across all levels, plus Turtle Bay offers the chance to develop and grow within the company. Training is provided and waiting staff regularly go onto become managers in a short space of time.
