Our Reflections on Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
We are extremely saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty gave 70 years of public service to our country and we were deeply honoured and proud when she officially opened MediaCity in March 2012. Our thoughts are with Her Majesty’s family at this time.
Please note we will not be showing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on the big screen on Monday
Monday will be a national day of reflection and mourning in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As an employer, we want our teams to be able to take off the bank holiday in the spirit that it has been given by King Charles III. We have therefore made the decision not to show the funeral on our big screens to enable as many of our operational staff as possible to take the day off and reflect privately at home should they so wish.
