Fuzzy Duck commissioned to tell MediaCity’s innovation story
MediaCity’s innovation narrative is set to be told for the first time in a one-minute sizzle produced by story-telling specialists Fuzzy Duck.
The award-winning agency based in MediaCity’s ARRIVE workspace in the Tomorrow Building has worked on a number of projects to help promote the creative, tech and innovation hub’s property offer and proposed future plans.
Late 2023, MediaCity in partnership with The University of Salford and Salford City Council, launched the MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub which will champion, promote and support the immersive sectors within Salford and across Greater Manchester to a global audience – further cementing MediaCity’s role as a living lab for tomorrow’s technological advancements.
Caroline Aikman, MediaCity’s Head of Marketing said: “Innovation runs through MediaCity’s veins and while it has the highest concentration of creative, media and tech businesses outside of London – it’s a challenge to convey the breadth of innovation within our destination in a concise way as it runs through multiple subjects, channels and medias. The Fuzzy Duck team has the talent and vision to help tell that story to potential occupiers and stakeholders in a visual and uncomplicated way, which is exactly how they met the brief.”
Nigel Moore, Production Director of Fuzzy Duck added “When we were approached by the team at MediaCity, it was a little bit intimidating considering the calibre of our neighbours, but an exciting challenge. When you think about all the activity that goes on around the site, and the opportunity for future innovation, we wanted to do it justice. While promotion of innovation is a cornerstone of film, working here allowed us to promote the other key component, which is the community and the overall spirit of the place.”
