Rule 5 launches new video content venture, ‘V’
MediaCityUK based PR and digital communications agency Rule 5 is to launch a new business, ‘V’, at Prolific North Live (15th and 16th February 2017).
Launched as part of an exclusive partnership with ITV, this “industry first” TV Commercial for VetPlus focuses on presenting their flagship product, Synoquin, driving footfall into independent veterinary practices across the UK.
Filmed on location in Knutsford, Cheshire, the concept, which was created by Equinox TV, presents the use of Synoquin through the eyes of the dog and its owner. Viewers follow the story of Charlie the dog, and watch the alleviation of his arthritis and joint pain symptoms, following the use of Synoquin (a 100% natural supplement).
The £1 million TV campaign, which has been planned and bought by MediaCom, Manchester, will be shown exclusively throughout October and November on ITV, and is estimated to be seen by 20.7 million people over the eight-week period.
Phillipa Chadwick, head of marketing at VetPlus, said: “We believe not only is this the first time a nutraceutical company has invested in TV to this level, but it is certainly the first time a manufacturer has directly promoted the concept of visiting your local vet to a national TV audience”.
Holly Arthurby, senior producer at Equinox TV added: “We’re proud to be working with VetPlus to launch their first ever TV campaign. We’ve worked hard to produce a creative concept that resonates with pet owners whilst also demonstrating the benefits of the Synoquin supplement. The final TVC really achieves this brief”.
Equinox worked with Animal Direction, the pet modelling agency based in The Greenhouse at MediaCityUK, to source the dog for this campaign.
