Visiting MediaCityUK

Despite the second lockdown there are still individuals who need to travel to MediaCityUK for work purposes. We ask that you follow government guidance at all times and if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 such as a new continuous cough, fever or loss of taste and/or smell we respectfully ask that you do not travel to MediaCityUK.

Returning to the office

In the event of occupiers needing access to the office all our receptions in White, Blue, Orange towers, Tomorrow and the Greenhouse are currently manned.

On arrival we respectfully ask you to wear face masks when entering and exiting the building and adhere to social distancing measures.

As a responsible Property Partner, we will work with you to support your business requirements effectively and efficiently, while strictly observing government guidelines.

Take out refreshments and food are currently being offered on site by Grindsmith, Costa, Vertigo and Pret a Manger. Booths food store is also open.

We are mindful that the current situation is evolving and we will keep you updated on any changes as they emerge.


Support for occupiers

We highly recommend our occupiers sign up to Salford Council’s Business Support and Advice mailing list in order to receive the most up to date help and advice, including how to apply for grants and funding


New support grants for businesses

Salford Council has created a new business grants webpage which will be regularly updated as further Government guidance is received.


Free healthcare package to small businesses

Medigold Health, which provides workplace health services, is offering a free support package to SMEs to help them protect their teams’ mental and physical health. The service has been designed to help small businesses to keep their workforce well. It includes private doctor and/or nurse support for any mental and physical health issues, whether these arise from Covid-19, extended furlough, working from home, or other pressures and types of sickness absence.

Businesses which sign up will also benefit from a wide range of wellbeing materials and an NHS-approved mental health and wellbeing app for employees to download. Salford businesses with between three and 100 employees are eligible to apply for a free one-year subscription via Applications must be received by Friday 20 November.


Greater Manchester’s Digital Drive offers free website and hosting for 12 months

GC Business Growth Hub and Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) are partnering with The Hut Group to launch Greater Manchester’s Digital Drive. It’s a fully funded initiative to help any Greater Manchester-based business get online, or improve their existing digital presence. Businesses can create a website and have this hosted for free, for up to 12 months. Businesses already online can get access to business support. This service will be made available free, for a period of six months. More information is available here.
