‘Creative Christmas’ I4YPC project

‘Creative Christmas’ is a fun project which encourages young people to be freely creative and enterprising.  During the sessions, a variety of amazing activities such as fine art, visual art, woodwork and other exciting areas of creativity will be covered and will be led by our experienced facilitators.

As well as developing their creative skills during the sessions, the young people will be making products such as birdhouses, vases and candle holders, which they will then sell at the Christmas Market at Quayside, Salford Quays in December 2024, or through the Innit Creative Hub!

Alongside the creative pursuits, the young people will be sourcing materials, keeping stock spreadsheets and budgeting for new materials, so they can build their business acumen.  The young people who take part will also be learning customer service skills and general retail skills such as displays and keeping the space tidy through the Innit Creative Hub gallery and shop.

This is an amazing project which uses a holistic approach to developing young people, whilst also providing an incentive for the young person please to earn 50% commission on any products they have made, that are later sold.
