The design includes a dedicated zone to help customers with their digital banking needs, with Digital Eagle experts on hand to provide one-to-one help and support. Queue busting Express Banking Services help customers to manage their day-to-day banking needs and the branch features Barclays’ latest self-service technology for paying in or withdrawing cash, depositing cheques and managing money. There’s also space to host free one-to-one mentoring with a Barclays Money Mentor, to help customers to plan towards a financial goal or cope with a financial dilemma.
Steve Mitchell, Barclays Market Director for Manchester said; “We’re absolutely delighted to celebrate the launch of our new MediaCityUK branch with the local community today. The branch represents our investment in and commitment to responding to how our customers want to bank with us by delivering personalised experiences for our customers and clients in and around MediaCityUK.”
Branch staff are empowered to assist customers’ important life moments and goals, such as buying a home, saving for university or planning for retirement, as well as routine financial decisions and day-to-day needs. You’ll also find video banking facilities, which enable customers to speak with specialist teams at other locations. The neighbouring Barclays Eagle Lab complements the new offering by providing space to host seminars for the local community on topics that matter to them, such as how to stay safe online, planning finances and networking events for customers and small business clients.
Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCityUK said: “It’s fantastic to see Barclays opening one of their latest generation branches here at MediaCityUK. This reflects our burgeoning residential and business community and it’s great that they will be able to benefit from the convenience and expertise offered by this branch.
