Focus is firmly on Tomorrow at MediaCityUK

Edwards & Co appointed as agents on the multi-million pound project.

Edwards & Co, Manchester’s leading independent surveying practice, has been appointed by MediaCityUK as the agents on the £20m Tomorrow project – a brand new exciting and imaginatively designed workspace for digital and creative businesses.

Opening in June 2016, it totals over 100,000 sq ft and will feature new office/studio space (including co-working space) to meet the increasing demand for the fast-growing creative and digital industries, as well as a 112-bed hotel – offering further choices at MediaCityUK as a visitor destination.

Andrew Timms, Head of Office Agency at Edwards and Co said: “We’re delighted that our expertise and knowledge within the creative and digital sector has been recognised by MediaCityUK in our recent agency appointment.  Tomorrow will be complementary to the state-of-the-art digital facilities for broadcasting and production, audio and virtual reality – currently offered at the Landing and dock10.  We are excited to work with those businesses that will make their mark in this creative space”.

Lynn Haime, Asset Manager at MediaCityUK said: “Tomorrow brings a new dimension to MediaCityUK and will provide a studio / warehouse feel, with exposed steel beams, full access raised floors and full height glazing with opening windows. Creativity is key. The heartbeat of the building will be 23:59, a collaboration and co-working coffee hub spread across ground and mezzanine level. We’re excited to be working with Edwards and Co and to look forward to seeing the space come alive with innovative and inspiring businesses”.

Tomorrow has 50,052 sq. ft. of available office space spread across 6 upper floors with floor plates of 8,342 sq. ft. Requirements can be satisfied from 3,313 sq. ft.
