MediaCityUK based talent agency, Scream Management, is celebrating after a number of clients from the Young Performers division enjoyed success at the Soap awards held at the Hackney Empire and watched by millions of avid soap fans on ITV.
Malique Thompson (Prince McQueen in Hollyoaks) won the award for Best On-Screen Partnership. Hollyoaks won the award for Best Single Episode for Three Mothers, Three Daughters which starred Ruby O’Donnell (Perri Lomax). Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt in Coronation Street) won a two awards on the night, Best Actress and Best Female in a Dramatic Performance.
This follows on the back of their young artist Dylan Naden’s BAFTA success for his role in a short film, Cowboy Dave, earlier this year.
Scream Management Senior Kids Agent, Jess Bell said: “We are incredibly proud of all our talent who have worked so hard to win these prestigious roles and have demonstrated their considerable talent by being recognised by these nominations.
“We started awards season with a BAFTA, added a number of Soap awards and are hoping to score a hat trick with the TV Choice awards in September. These awards are the icing on the cake for Scream, which was established 20 years ago to find and nurture North West talent.
“Two decades ago, all eyes were on London but now, with major broadcasters and production companies firmly established in the North, there are massive opportunities for those looking to build a career in the media industry business. Scream are always looking to unearth the next Dylan or Aedan and see where their talent and our support can take them.”
In September, Aedan Duckworth travels to The Dorchester on Park Lane in London for the TV Choice Awards. Aedan, aged 17 years, is shortlisted for Best Newcomer for his portrayal of Oliver Morgan in Hollyoaks. He was spotted and invited to the agency four years ago and landed the role last year having already developed a credible CV in other dramas. Aedan has since acted in some of the soaps biggest plots featuring a hard hitting grooming storyline.
Scream Management Talent Agency is based in MediaCityUK and were one of the first companies to call it their home. Scream work with kids and young performers aged six to twenty-one across four divisions: young performers, kids, voices and extras.
