The Botanist plants roots at MediaCityUK

The 14th edition to The Botanist portfolio will be situated in MediaCityUK’s Orange tower, above CAU and Pret. The ground floor entrance door will be located between wagamama and CAU, leading to the upstairs area covering 6,500 sq ft. The space has room for 146 diners, and will also feature a large outside terrace for al fresco drinking and dining.

On the food menu will be the brand’s signature hanging kebabs along with deli boards, nibbles and pub grub staples such as rotisserie chicken, inspired by the in-house barbeque.

The site will also showcase the brand’s extensive cocktail menu which offers over 45 botanical-based concoctions. In true Botanist style, the venue will be employing the services of top class mixologists who will merge and muddle fresh fruits, herbs and spirits to create unique signature tipples that will sit alongside a range of classic cocktails, shorts, and non-alcoholic beverages.

The bar will also stock more than 60 ales, beers and ciders from around the world, including a home-brewed speciality ale.

The area is always busy and as The Botanist is already renowned for excellent food, drink and live entertainment we expect this pub to be very popular with the area’s daytime workers who want to pop in for a coffee in addition to those looking for an after work drink.”

In anticipation of the launch in September, The Botanist MediaCityUK will be recruiting 50-60 staff to cover all areas of the business with interviews taking place early August.

Situated at Orange, Unit 1 Balcony, MediaCityUK, M50 2HE, The Botanist MediaCityUK will be open from 12pm to 12am every day from early September 2017.
